One of the delights of my stint in Chiang Mai was getting to know this girl and her family. Adriann began her first day of her last year of high school today, and it's been so exciting to see her grow from the sidelines.

Adriann can be quiet at times, but the girl is one of the funnest, most loving people I've had the privilege to know. I helped lead a summer camp she attended this past summer and I'll hold to the fact that you see the best or the worst of people at camp. This girl was obviously the best, helping her friends work through some tough issues and taking initiative in so many ways to make things work for a group or to honor those around her. She'll be headed back to the U.S. for college in a year, and I'm so pumped that we'll be in the same country again. So excited to see how she finds out what's next for her.
